I do filmmaking and advocacy work

in Los Angeles, CA | Chumash & Gabrielino/Tongva Nation land

As a producer and writer, I work across genres and formats with particular interest in themes of social justice, history, feminism, and identity. My experience is in development and production of scripted and documentary projects.

Most recently, I…

  • Wrapped the international travel doc feature Game Changers 2 for Fulwell Entertainment and Atlas Films as the Coordinating Producer.

  • Completed the 2024-2025 Fund Climate campaign for NY Renews as the Digital & Communications Manager (2024-2025 New York state legislative session).

  • Concluded the 2024-2025 festival circuit with my comedy series Problematic, a narrative, short-form, digital episodic for BRIC TV, which I co-created and executive produced with Pranav Behari and Aditi Kini.  Awards wins include “BEST DIGITAL SHORT SERIES” at Series Fest 2024; the “AUDIENCE AWARD” at Stareable 2024 & “BEST WRITING” at Stareable 2024.

Prior to taking on the Digital & Communications Manager role at NY Renews, I directed and produced videos for the climate justice coalition. Check out our People’s Climate Justice Budget video playlist! As a content creator for a climate justice coalition that drives progressive climate law in New York state with values of justice and equity as ethical imperative and strategic advantage in addressing the climate crisis,  my work entailed facilitating the video working group within the Media & Communications Committee. I joined the coalition as an organizing fellow for the 2022-2023 legislative session and developed relationships with my fellow organizers and movement builders. Bringing my filmmaking skills to our work, I collaborated with coalition members to create and produce videos that communicate the legislative agenda and galvanize New Yorkers to organize for climate justice in the state.

Currently, I’m…

• Freelance producing.

• Preparing to release the first season of Problematic on BRIC TV in fall of 2025.

• Auditioning for film, television, and theatre roles.

• Developing a narrative, historical fiction series based on a novel by Evie Blaikie for Green Leaf Productions.

Other credits include…

the two-part documentary feature Phoenix Rising, which premiered as a special screening at Sundance Film Festival 2022 and began streaming on HBO in March 2022. The project was produced by DISARMING FILMS, a documentary production company where I was a development producer for two years. There, I developed and pitched original, co-produced, and adapted docu-series and doc films.

Other clients I’ve worked with as a development producer, deck/pitch/treatment writer, etc. include North of Now and Beach House Pictures, in the non-fiction space, and Yellow Dot Studios / STFU, in the climate justice advocacy space.

My favorite stories…

find evocative ways for audiences to, as movement leaders put it,  reimagine our world and ourselves.

You can find me…

trying to dismantle oppressive systems, staying civically engaged, and making art. An amateur socialist and determined dissident of the American government, revolution is on my mind most days. Transcendent moments in my life happen when I’m in nature, snuggling with my cat, reading too many books at once, collaborating with good people, on stage, on camera, and with beloveds — especially if we’re listening to music, or eating food I do not take for granted. In those moments, I feel shekinah, the Hebrew word for the manifestation of God’s presence in intimacy between beings and the feminine presence of God.

If, like me, you’re delusional enough to work on film and television projects, or shaping our country’s structures with love, please get in touch!
